Is There a Shortage of Energy From the Sun?

In one hour, enough energy hits the earth from the sun to power our societies and everything we do for a year. In 2019, electrical energy globally was only powered 2% by solar. So that means that solar is only providing 0.36% about a third of a percent of all of our energy. The other 99.64% is coming from other means like burning stuff.
