How Does Philosophy Go Beyond Commonsense?
Libne: Many philosophical questions become very abstract and move really far away from every day concerns. So even though philosophy can start from sort of common sense and concerns of everyday life, i think it's actually very similar with with natural science. With natural sciencethat you're you're looking for some further explanation. Something else that is important in philosophy, and probably to some extent in natural science as well, is that a common sense isn't fully self consistent. And if you follow common sense ways of thinking, you actually quite often ent upi in contradictions.
