The Systemic Risk of 4,000 Oklahoma Equivalent Banks

There are 4,900 banks that remain in the U.S., of which at least 4,000 of them are managed poorly. They don't manage credit risk properly; they do not manage interest rates risk properly. And even if they did, they wouldn't know how to use them. So there is a non systemic risk with 10 Oklahoma banks, but there is a systemic risk with 4,000 Oklahoma equivalent banks. That's where it's hard to draw the the the border, if you will.
