The Disadvantages of Forgiving Things
Within Christian ethics, almost everything is forgivable. Derrida would counter that actually two things come into play when you actually forgive - either something trivial or something relatively serious. He says it's not so much a question of being on a spectrum between A and Z, as evoking or convoking those two conditions at the same time.
