How to Pre-Fill Your Tax Return
If you're doing your own tax, wait until closer to the end of July. The ATO can basically pre-fill most information from your employer and from banks by late July. If you type in MyTax portal, double check that it is the government website. There are a lot of companies that kind of leverage off that and call it like the MyTax login or something,. And then they're actually a company that do your tax return for you. So just make sure it's the government one before we go and try and DIY.
