Takarazka is almost a play on cause, i think in traditional japanese theatre only, and same in the west, only men could perform. And then they were like, ok, japanese theatres becoming less popular,. Let's twist it and have only women. So they perform the male parts as well as the female parts. Yea, playing with gender. I think maybe het's the pioneer of like this character building a kind of method.
