The Importance of a Voluntary Engagement in the Criminal Justice System
Having a voluntary programme is essential for a few reasons. When an incident of harm occurs, the agency and choice of the person who was harmed is damaged. The other thing that i think is really interesting and important about this is the focus on ensuring that the harm does not happen again. We know that incarceration has not been successful in deterring crime and harm.
