What Was the World Before the Canvas?

Before the canvas, what did we have, like the business plan, like a long page document? What was that world like before? Yes, o, then that's the reason why e've started this idea. Because in startups, i think business plans are not so common any more. In established companies, unfortunately, companies still ask for business plans for new ideas. That's crazy, because i'd say actually, business plans maximise your risk of failure. So now with the small canvas, and that's just the tool to make it explicit, you want to combine it with this customer development, lean start up approach which was started by steve blank. They're good tools for innovation
