The Importance of Repentance
In chapter 12, God sends the prophet Nathan to confront David about his sin. He says David has grown entitled and ungrateful. This is tantamount to despising God's words, which leads him to commit evil. Even after hearing such a harsh word from God, even after the death of his son, he somehow still trusts God's goodness.
