Patterns for Building Web Servers

There's a very useful pattern in building services which is using higher order functions or middleware. The downside of these tiny little modular components is that you end up not really creating HTTP conformance services. In the future, we'll begin to start looking for patterns and techniques to allow us to evolve larger systems over time so when things begin to slow down and we're looking for more longevity and either vulnerability i think that these ideas of rest will come back to the fore. I don't think we should sort of uh kind of embrace open API and you know IDL approaches and and kind of the very bare bones services that we were talking about but there is still a place for highly conformant specification
