Do Scientists Care More About the Environment Than the Average Citizen?

On average, scientists care more about the environment than the public as a whole. This also acts as an incentive to them according to Annatuy's work. But does it matter what the average scientist would think? Both green firms that are helping to achieve this green transition and brown firms that aren't seem to be able to get all the scientists they need.
