I Lost My Train of Thought

I think that's a good analogy for the integration of ERP and analysis. Like, I think it's true that if a person stops ruminating consistently all the time, they can really get their symptoms down or get their anxiety down. Lessen the drive by sorting through the emotional dynamics that are driving it in the first place. It would be life-changing to teach somebody how to stop ruminating. People with OCD, we don't know how much control we have over what's going on in our mind. We don't realize it's something that we can control. And showing them that they feel immeasurably better when they control it is massively important.
