The thrust lever for the number two engine became jammed because the fire burned through the operating cable. At six 29 p m universal time, the engine was shut down during final approach. At six 35 universal time, captain couter declared an emergency and landed back at riad. There're four engines on this plane. One under the left wing, one in the tail, and then one under the right wing. It used the entire runway to land, and then it exited the runway and turned on the taxi way.
