Carry Water Morning's podcast from NewsTalk said B. Three waters? It's now a thing of the past, apparently. We have the supposedly more palatable, affordable water reforms can't see it sticking. The government's made changes to the controversial scheme including ditching four mega-organisations that would have delivered fresh water wastewater and stormwater services. They've all established 10 regionally-led local water entities. Prime Minister Chris Hipkins believes the strikes the right balance between cost savings and the delivery of water infrastructure. National says these are the same broken reforms, just with a new coat of paint.
