The Diagnostic Process for Autistic People
Autistic people are commonly misdiagnosed with borderline personality disorder. The build up to contact in my GP was much, much worse than the actual diagnostic process. I don't like having any dealings with mental health services because I had negative experiences of them when I was younger. But I do sometimes feel like personality disorders are used by people in the health professions in a sort of dismissive way.
