Hansa calls her mother to say she believes Gretel's appendix is infected. If she's not taken to the ER tonight, Hansa says she could die. She'll buy a cross-country nonstop ticket for $2,000 early tomorrow. The girl can no longer move. At her request, the mother puts blankets on a living room couch.
