The Importance of Knowledge Transfer

A software developer is somebody that has a lot of knowledge invested in things. And I've seen managers before try to treat developers like their cogs and that does not work. Even if you have subgroups working on pieces, you end up duplicating efforts. It's the same thing with human communication except we're way slower at it.
