What's the Point of the Book of Mormon Translation?
There is no language like this before or after Joseph Smith claims to have found it. And so because there's no evidence for the Book of Mormon archaeologically, where we're seeing maybe tablets or plates that are written that got lost in the ground, we have nothing to compare to. But since you can compare to the English language and it matches up so well, to me, that's a pretty good indicator that fits in with this kind of ongoing pattern of Joseph Smith being the person that is creating these translations.
