The Challenge of Buying VIX Calls

The markets are half open on Monday and there will be no live shows on Monday. The market starts only a half day because of that weird Tuesday holiday. We won't hear the live Russell's weekly rundown drop this week, which I'm much more upset about than you listeners. VIX Land is shedding value right now but maybe a little bit more than you might expect given the fact that we're heading into a effectively truncated holiday weekend.
