I think it's been pretty well documented that when you look at, you go further east, all soc s have their racial hierarchis a that that serves some purpose. And so by doingo anything like affirmative action, that is judging people not based on their individual merit, but is judging them by their membership in a class. This is illiberal. But we don't want to forget the sort of the liberal critique of this, which is called race blindness.
