Do You Think That Idolatry Is Taking Place With Islamic Tradition?

I read one of the contentions of uh Sheikh I'm gonna haqim al-ad and he said the new shahadah of the muslim is there is no islam except islam. And i'm just suggesting that there's a kind of idolatry taking place with islamic tradition itselfthat tradition becomes this idol that is worshiped in lieu of god right do you think that this is justShahadah haqim taking some poetic license or do you think there's any more to that idea?
