The BBC's New Media Centre in Birmingham
Much of the historic structure will be retained, but interior fitted out to include offices and studios. There's also this very impressive atrium through the middle which is going to help bring natural light into the deep plan building. The whole thing forms part of the wider master plans upgrade, the typhoon, wharf area. I was so joyful at seeing these proposals - I think it's actually perfect for Birmingham.
