The EU Carbon Tariff
The EU recently has launched its big green agenda. It's talked about the possibility of imposing import taxes on carbon-intensive imports from other places, and one of which would be China. This is indeed a very important factor because many successful manufacturing firms in China are connected to international supply chain. Now the EU carbon tariff now becomes another threat. Although, at this moment, not many sectors will be affected. But if this can be scaled up to other sectors, it will become a huge issue for many companies.
