Introduction
An 18-year-old couple are making the journey home from La Escuela National Proparatoria, or National Preparatory School. A tram with two coaches is heading towards the junction ahead, travelling at a right angle to the bus. It shunts the bus along sideways, concertining it under the pressure. Most terrified occupants are compressed into the decreasing space until the flimsy wooden exterior can flex no more. When it's forced into a wall on the other side of the street, the bus explodes into splinters. The streetcar ploughs over the bus passengers buried in the wreckage.
