Every one of us shares genes and genetic variants with very recent ancestors. So even if I die tomorrow, my genes are still shared through family members. And then there's the academic family that I have - students who are actually studying with me. The cognitive systems that were shipped to this particular location will then disperse back into all of their home countries. That's what makes America the beacon of the world.
