The Importance of Hospice

The artificial nutrition and hydration actually shortens life if you look at the mortality curves. So therefore, a hospice model is a much better way to go out. My grandmother lived a longer life because she didn't get any of that stuff. I think basically if someone has a pretty solid diagnosis of progressive dementia, it's been observed for a bit of time, then just let them let them be at peace. Let them live peacefully and don't interrupt nature's way.
