The Role of Remifetinol in Smooth Emergence

Deep extubations are avoided to the increased risk of post-exubational arrhantospasm and then problem with need of airway support by the anesthesiologist. Remifetinol has been very successful in demonstrating suppression of the cough reflex during these types of surgeries. It's been shown to allow for faster recovery times when compared to volatile anesthetics alone. And remifetinols provides hemodynamic stability and allows for rapid recovery, whether it's combined with propofol or with a volatile agent.
