There are some people for whom, like they exit the womb understanding compound interest. They just intuitively get it. And then there's another set of society that's always going to be compulsive gamblers. I don't know what percentage of each, maybe it's like 10% of society is on either end. What would I tell those people? How do you modulate? Is there a discipline practice? It's probably more true than I'd like to think we can teach young people or at least take the moderates in their lives towards saving and less towards spending.
