Is There a Difference Between Mediation and Dispute Resolution?
I was talking to someone just the other day. There was a mediation that they put me forward for, but ended up choosing someone who spoke Chinese because both the parties were Chinese. And it was interesting that the mediator was highly biased towards the sun based on traditional cultural values of what the outcome should be in this mediation. So my question is, how can we take this mentality and some of the benefits that come with mediation and bring it to our everyday negotiations?
