When we assume other organizations, other departments, other families, other teams are perfect. We then strive for perfection, which is unattainable. When you start without one in the first place, that's messy. You don't even have a plan or structure when you do have to deviate from it. And people kind of are hoping things are going to be neat and tidy and replicable just isn't true.
