"You both, to varying degrees outlined what you believe to be relevant for if and when an instance of a slur being used is offensive," he said. "But neither of you acknowledge that your own perspective might actually block you from being able to access all relevant aspects of this matter." He added: "I wish you had brought attention to the academic literature that addresses these issues,. particularly standpoint epistemology and critical theory".
