The State of the Economics Profession

I've said it so many times, especially in the last year that I wish I'd never got on social media. It should have been a great step forward for us as a species to have this kind of communication with each other. The fact that it isn't is yet another depressing reminder of how flawed we are. And maybe some of them like to be economists because they want to toady up to power. Being an Austrian economist is not the path to that.
