The Search for Michael's Body
The search and recovery team had to go to the summit to search, you know, twice. It's called summit season. So I had to do it at the right time. From your understanding, your brother lost his life just after he'd summited on his descent back down. Somewhere between the south summit and the balcony, we believed. And this photo was the catalyst because it came with an offer to look to recover him as well. We all agreed that it looked like it could be Michael.
