The fear of death is the prime motivating factor for humanity. We know it is certain that we will die, and yet the most powerful is clinging to life. In a psychoanalyst's book he says immortality projects all the great endeavors of human life as our struggle to conquer death. But this is not really in our hearts. This is not what we want. What we want, we want to live like this, not er, in that kind of immortality.
