Is There a Generational Divide in Linguistics?
i feel like i'm living in a completely different culture then my parents are, and we have very little to talk about because we inhabit different galaxies. I mean, eventually, everyone who hasn't grown up wit theinternet will be dead. So what do you am i is that an overblown concern, or will this all come out in the wash once we all grow up with the inneret you don't? Ike joe: It's kind of instructive to look back at other types of cultural division and see how sorts of complaints people had felt when they were younger.
