We need to get the energy requirements of those lasers down, which scientists say should be possible because they date back to the 1980s and 1990s. Currently it's really difficult to create these tiny capsules of fuel - even something the size of a bacteria can upset the reactions. So we also need a cheap way of manufacturing that. I mean, all these considered, you know, just small problems now on the way to commercial and nuclear fusion.
