Playing a Game of Pretend and Writing the Rules

Unstructured childhood play is something that i love and remember and love seeing whenever i am privileged to eavesdrop it on it happening. Being outside, in a place that is not engineered in some way such that, i mean, you can still do it. That sort of cognitive double move of being inside and outside simultaneously isa tonishing to me. It requires then, in inside and outside the story at the same time, which was, as i understand it, very much the goal om and very much a specifically fascist goal.
