How to Avoid a Bad Broker Strategy
Many owners talking to the country club and they're like, yeah, my business is worth 10 times even dots. And then they eventually find there are the one of the other lots of brokers out there that will say things like,Yeah, we just tell the seller whatever they want to hear. Get them under an exclusivity agreement and a tail agreement and then let the market tell them what their business is worth. It's very scammy. I really hate it. The more we deal with this, the more I'm like, uh, being a business broker just seems like the worst.
