How Did You Become a Professor of Marketing?

Jonathan: I never thought I'd be a marketing professor. But when I was a junior in college, I took a course on the psychology of decision making and judgment. And so then I wrote my senior thesis under his tutelage about valuing public goods. So that doesn't require a PhD necessarily. That requires some knowledge in how ads work and competence - which it turns out there isn't an abundance.
