Hatfield's Rain Making Process
Hatfield was very protective of his rain making process. He never patented it so he could keep the method secret. In 1922, Hatfield was reported in Naples invited by the Italian government to break a five month old drought. Tradition has it that when he set up shop near Naples, all Southern Italy was flooded.
