When you're doing a screenplay, obviously a lot of things have to alter from the novel. The order of information is as important as the information itself. There's a different level of pop cultural awareness with readers now than we had when I was younger. And so it's really fun to have that conversation of like offering your hand to the reader and having them come along because they understand some of those tropes.
