The Reaction to Kihui Kon
The film is really a love letter to Hong Kong cinema and to Michelle Yoh's career. I think the film didn't stick the landing narratively um it felt pat for me at the end in a way that I actually think it didn't need to in order for the film to be because of like the sort of celebration of the family unit at the very end uh yes it felt pretty neat. It would have had perhaps more integrity as a film if they had if things had not kind of gone so well for the family right because that would have been a much better but a much darker movieyes.
