Talking at Cross Purposes

I'm going to talk shop for a minute or two, because i know there are some english teachers who listen to this podcast. And i don't know if you've ever played a game with your student? Res a cord, talking at cross purposes? Now you put the students in pairs, so two students together, and you write on small pieces of paper a topic. It could be tennis on one piece of paper, and cards on another piece of paper. The conversation is completely illogical and quite funny. You could have one student talking about soup and another student talking about fireworks,. One student talking about skyscrapers and another studenttalking about tissues.
