Jew was woken by a terrible crashing sound. She rolled from her bed and fell to the floor, tangled in her blankets. Her mother passed her a steaming cup of tea: Red ginseng, sweet dreams and magic honey. From outside there came a snuffling noise then again, louder. Then something heavy threw itself against the wood,. making it groan on its hinges. Could smell the thick, musky smell of a wild animal. A big one.
