Is There a Climate Emergency?
When I moved there in 1998, it was a much different place than it is today. But that sprawl was continuing and the expansion of 183 and all those other roads have been going at a large clip. Austin kind of never really changed its thinking about land development. It's interesting because those suburbs had always been an escape valve for Austin residents who couldn't afford to live in Austin anymore.
