There's some real concrete moments in Saturday night that were drawn from my mom's life experience. She worked as a waitress at Perkins, which is one of the models for Jorbeas and Shane Perkins. I wrote about environmental factors that contribute to shortened lives of people in the service industry through my mom's experience in that. At the end of the day she was a voluptuary.
