The Evolution of Wireless Microphones

The main difference between the early wireless is that we had and now it wasn't so much the performance, it was the convenience of use. We have a couple of channel systems where you could just pick a frequency and open frequency and then you just turn it on. It's kind of improvements that have been made. And as far as the UHF versus VHF, VHF as far as performance is actually better. Because when you go to UHF it's the transmission process and the way you generate the higher frequencies is slightly noisier. So you get better signal noise and better dynamic range in the VHF versus UHF.
