If you're anything like me, your ego keeps you in the way of a conversation that actually could work for you over the long term. By social proofing and status flexing yourself constantly in a conversation, the knowledge that you acquire over a 30 minutes span is abysmal. Be more selfless. Allow the person to do 80 % of the talking. Don't drive the conversation, guide the conver ation. And most importantly, it will allow you to be a hoarder of knowledge and information which you will then benefit from greatly over the longterm. Just imagine this world.
