The Role of Neo Liberalism in the Development of Oil Resources

The hegemone of neo liberal policies, allowed for this provisional alignment of social movement organizations with such distinct political trajectories and positions on extraction. The way in which alets kind of rallyingto under the banner of freemarket reforms was kind of helpful, you know, ironically,  in unifying popular forces. Because there were so many different things wrong with neo liberalism. You know, obviously created poverty and unemployment. It destroyed labor unions. And it also led to environment devastation due to the forms of dregulation. Many different social positions could find a problem with neo liberalism, and they did.
