How Do You Deal With Stereotypes and Assumptions?
"I grew up pretty poor and I didn't have any computer until like the end of high school," Jen Shiffer says. "The people that you are supposed to look up to or want to fit in with sort of kicking you down is much more of a problem than whether you grew up with the tech or not" She doesn't get upset when people make those assumptions about her based on my satire because they're making those assumptions based on this character I've created, she says.
